Where I Belong is a cute YA novel about a teen who's family is turned upside down because of the recession. The story is completely predictable but does a fair job establishing the importance of friendship, hard work and remembering where you came from. As an adult I like to read YA but this one is a little too predictable and a little too "everything works out perfectly in the end". I would recommend this for a true young teen and not someone who simply enjoys the genre.
